A Fire Broke out At A Fireworks plant In Anakapalli, 8 Dead, PM, CM shocked

An accidental fire broke out at a fireworks manufacturing plant in Kailasa town of Kotavutla mandal in Anakapalli district on Sunday afternoon. Eight people died in the incident and six others were seriously injured. Most of the deceased and injured are said to be from Samarlakota in the joint East Godavari district.

The fireworks factory is famous for making Tarajuvvalu and the accident occurred while fireworks were being made as it was the wedding season. The explosion made a loud noise. The injured in the accident were taken to Narsipatnam Hospital for treatment. Police and officials reached the spot and took up rescue operations.

Both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed shock over the Anakapalle fire. PM Modi expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased. He said that he is praying for the speedy recovery of the injured. He announced a compensation of Rs. 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs. 50,000 each to the injured.

CM Chandrababu held a review with the concerned officials public representatives. He directed them to take immediate action. Officials explained the condition of the injured to CM Chandrababu.  

Home Minister Anita expressed shock over the fire accident in the fireworks factory. Firefighters were alerted to take rescue measures in the accident area. As soon as the matter came to light, Anita spoke to the Collector and SP on the phone and inquired about the accident. She inquired about the current condition of the victims

Speaker Ayyannapatrudu expressed deep shock over the fire accident.  The state government has announced compensation to the families of those who died in the incident. Home Minister Anita announced that Rs. 15 lakhs will be provided as compensation to the respective families for each person who died in the fire accident.
