TDP Senior leader and Chairman of the AP State Agro Industries Development Corporation Malepati Subbanaiudu passed away. He had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Vijayawada for the last 10 days due to a brain stroke and breathed his last in the early hours of Monday.
Chief Minister Chandrababu and Minister Nara Lokesh recently visited him in the hospital. However, he died in the early hours of Monday as his health condition deteriorated. AP CM Chandrababu, ministers, MLAs, MPs and TDP leaders expressed their condolences on Subbanayudu’s death.
Expressing his shock over the death of TDP leader, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said in a statement that “I hope Subbanaiudu will return safely from the hospital, but I am unable to digest his untimely death. Subbanaiudu worked tirelessly to strengthen the party in the Kavali constituency”.
“We have lost a committed and dedicated leader. Subbanaiudu’s death is a huge loss for the party. I pray to God that his soul may rest in peace. I express my condolences to Subbanayudu’s family members and relatives. The party will stand by Subbanaidu’s family,” he added.
The body of Malepati Subbanaiudu has been shifted to Dagadarthi in Nellore district. The last rites will be performed this evening, family members said. Tragedies have been haunting Malepati’s house. Subbanayuidu’s elder son Malepati Bhanu died on Saturday night.
Bhanu is the son of former Irrigation Board Director Malepati Ravindra Naidu. Less than 24 hours after Bhanu’s death, another tragedy struck. The family is in deep grief after Subbanaidu’s death.
TDP leaders in Nellore district expressed deep shock over Subbanaidu’s death. They expressed their condolences to Malepati’s family. Malepati Subbanaidu served as the TDP in-charge of Kavali constituency from 2022 to the 2024 elections.
However, due to changing political developments, he did not get the MLA ticket. But, he did not express dissatisfaction. He worked for the victory of Kavali TDP candidate Kavya Krishna Reddy. He also worked to strengthen the party in the constituency. Recently, Subbanaidu was nominated as Chairman of the State Agro Industries Development Corporation.
