Nara Lokesh asks Telugu diaspora in Australia to become `Brand Ambassadors’ for the progress of AP

IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh has called for NRIs to become brand ambassadors for the progress of Andhra Pradesh. He participated in the Telugu diaspora meeting as part of his Australia tour and suggested that we all work together to rebuild the state. He said that a situation should arise where Telugus can stand proudly again.

He recalled that NRIs stood by Chandrababu Naidu when he was illegally arrested. He revealed that AP has received investments of Rs. 10 lakh crore in the last 16 months alone and they are working towards creating 20 lakh jobs in five years. He said that Google has come to the state due to central cooperation.

Minister Lokesh said that the coalition government is developing the state with determination and it is working to make it number one in all sectors. He said that CM Chandrababu has introduced the potential of Telugus to the world. He said that even though he is 75 years old, he works like a 25-year-old. He recalled that when Chandrababu was arrested during the YSRCP regime, all the Andhra diaspora supported him.

“There are double-engine governments in many states. But there is a double-engine bullet train government in AP. The Google data center came up in Visakhapatnam only with the help of the central government. With a single Zoom call, ArcelorMittal agreed to invest in AP. When Chandrababu requested for this project, Prime Minister Modi cooperated”, he said.

Lokesh asserted that the government is moving forward with the help of Pawan Kalyan and is working to make the state number one in all sectors. “We will complete the Polavaram work and make it water-tight. Do not leave any opportunity for the good of the state. Telugu people working in Australian companies should work like AP ambassadors”, he added.

He assured them that if their companies have the opportunity to invest in AP, the government will provide all kinds of support.  “I am being told many things, but I am moving forward with a sportsmanlike spirit. India will win only if the states compete with each other,” said Lokesh.
