Sri Sathya Sai police Nabbed Two More ISI-Linked Terrorists

Two more ISI-linked terrorists were arrested by the Sri Sathya Sai District Police on the basis of information given by a terrorist sympathizer caught in Dharmavaram. Kotwal Noor Mohammed was taken into custody on August 16 for allegedly working as a biryani master in a hotel in Dharmavaram and trying to divert the youth towards terrorism.

The police, who took Noor Mohammed from judicial custody to police custody and interrogated him, got more information about the militants. In this regard, the police, formed special teams in collaboration with the NIA, kept an eye on two people in the states of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh.

Two people were identified in the states of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh as members of Pakistan’s ISI-based Jaish-e-Mohammed WhatsApp groups and were instigating the youth towards terrorism. The Sri Sathya Sai Police arrested Taufiq Alam Sheikh in Maharashtra and Sajad Hussain, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

Both of them were produced in local courts in their respective states and the police brought the two terrorists to Puttaparthi on transit warrants. Mobiles, guns and ammunition were seized from the accused. Sri Sathya Sai District SP Satish Kumar explained the details of the two accused to the media.

“We have received information that Noor Mohammed and two other terrorists are in touch with the Pakistan ISI-based Jaish-e-Mohammed. With this, we have included Taufiq Alam Sheikh from Maharashtra and Sajjad Hussain from Uttar Pradesh in the list of accused and arrested them. We have seized the gun from Sajjad Hussain. It is known that this gun was used for jihad,” said Sri Sathya Sai District SP Satish Kumar.

“We have found evidence that Hussain spoke on video calls with terrorist organizations in Pakistan. ISI-inspired organizations are trying to trap the youth here through social media. Therefore, the youth should be very careful,” he warned.

Terrorists movements have once again come to light in the state a few days ago. Police registered a case under various sections against a youth named Noor Mohammed from Dharmavaram in Sri Sathya Sai district who was chatting with Pakistani terrorist organizations on the phone. Police found that he was not only in constant touch with terrorist organizations in Pakistan but was also a member of about 30 terrorist groups.

The police have investigated the matters on which he chatted.  Police investigation revealed that he was under the influence of Pakistani terrorist organizations and regularly chatted on WhatsApp with terrorist organizations in Pakistan.
