The following day, Manchu Vishnu, president of ‘MAA,’ also received a complaint requesting the actor’s membership be revoked.
Critics accused Srikanth of distorting historical facts for publicity and emphasized that his remarks had hurt the feelings of those who revere Gandhi’s principles. They further called on senior figures in the Telugu film industry to condemn the actor’s statements and reaffirm respect for the nation’s founding leaders.
