Sharwanand is known in Tollywood for his preference for stories rather than commercial narratives bringing him into a very unique group of actors who bring value to drama. After the success of Manamey last year, Sharwanand is working hard on two projects (one of them being the much-awaited Nari Nari Naduma Murari). Despite the initial aim of bringing it out any-day now, a release date cannot be set due to delays.
Much of that reason is that detail of an OTT deal to be negotiated is also holding the makers back from making any announcements. Nari Nari Naduma Murari is a fun ride from Ram Abbaraju and stars Samyuktha Menon and Sakshi Vaidya in the female lead.
The latest buzz is that the makers have geared up for a Sankranti release, with rumors of an official announcement being made during Diwali. If the movie indeed releases in the festival, it will be stepping into a very competitive arena. Sankranti 2026 is already filled with big banner releases, such as those featuring big stars like Chiranjeevi (Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu), Prabhas (The Raja Saab), Ravi Teja (Untitled Project under Kishore Tirumala), and Naveen Polishetty (Anaganaga Oka Raju).
To make the competition even more fierce, two Tamil-dubbed films are also likely to be released during this period, filling the festival season with extra competition. The question is now if Sharwanand and his crew will take the risk and release Nari Nari Naduma Murari in the midst of such tough competition.
This film is turning out to be one of the most looked-forward-to Tollywood releases, and with Sharwanand’s dependable record behind him and an able team at his side, Nari Nari Naduma Murari may well leave its own impression at the box office, even in a crowded festival schedule.
