BJP MP M Raghunandan Rao wondered why the Majlis Party is not contesting the upcoming by-election to the Jubilee Hills assembly constituency? He asked what is the reason behind the Majlis Party not contesting? Alleging that the Majlis Party for not contesting to prevent the victory of the BJP candidate in Jubilee Hills, he asked the people to recognize this conspiracy and ensure the victory of the BJP candidate in Jubilee Hills.
He recalled that the Majlis Party contested in 30 seats in Bihar, 90 seats in Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Rajasthan. He alleged that the Congress and Majlis parties have now united out of fear, knowing that if the BJP candidate wins in Jubilee Hills, the mayor’s post will go to the BJP.
Raghunandan Rao expressed his suspicion that the Majlis party is not contesting the by-election only after reaching an agreement with the Congress Party that the Mayor post will be left for it later in the GHMC elections to be held in December. He expressed his surprise that if elections are held across the country, the MIM party is ready to contest anywhere, but not in Bhagyanagaram, the Jubilee Hills by-election.
The BJP MP recalled that in the elections held after the formation of Telangana state in 2014, the MIM party contested in Jubilee Hills and secured 41,656 votes and came in second place. He also said that MIM contested the next elections in 2018 and 2023, but now, in this by-election to be held in November 2024, there is a big political conspiracy behind why the MIM party is not fielding a candidate.
Who will the MIM party support now? BRS? Or Congress? Raghunandan Rao suggested that the answer to this question should be thought by the people. He asserted that after the official announcement of the Congress candidate tomorrow, it will be clear to all the people whether the candidate is really Congress or MIM.
The BJP MP clarified that the plan to urgently build a graveyard in Jubilee Hills is also part of this political deal, and therefore people should be careful. He warned that voters should remember that if they vote for the Congress candidate in Jubilee Hills tomorrow by mistake, that vote will actually go to the MIM candidate.
