CM Chandrababu Launching Two new schemes For Dwcra women NTR Vijayalakshmi, NTR Kalyanalakshmi

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is launching two new schemes for the women in the Dwcra community towards economic self-reliance. The schemes ‘NTR Vidyalakshmi’ to support the education of their children and ‘NTR Kalyanalakshmi’ to support the marriage of girls will be implemented. Under these two schemes, loans of up to Rs. 1 lakh will be provided through the Strinidhi Bank under the Rural Poverty Eradication Society (SERP).

These schemes were supposed to be launched last week, but were postponed due to unavoidable reasons. The authorities have taken steps to implement these schemes in the next ten days. A total of Rs. 2,000 crores will be spent annually under these two schemes, at the rate of Rs. 1000 crore. 50 percent of the income generated under the interest rate through the implementation of these schemes will be used to strengthen the Mandal Samakhyas and Village Samakhyas, which are the lifeblood of the Dwcra communities.

The remaining 50% of the amount will be used for the benefits of ‘Stree Nidhi’ employees. These schemes are applicable to members who have been registered with the Dwakra association for at least six months or more. This opportunity is also available to those who are already paying their loans through bank linkage, Stree Nidhi, Unnati scheme and other means. The scheme will be implemented based on the beneficiary’s biometric.

The NTR Vidya Lakshmi scheme is applicable for the education of a maximum of two children. Loan assistance from Rs. 10,000 to 1 lakh will be provided. The required amount can be taken according to the fees to be paid by the children in schools and colleges. Interest will have to be paid for this.

The number of payment installments will be decided according to the amount taken. The amount has to be paid in a maximum of 48 installments. Admission letter, fee payment method, institute details, and receipt will have to be submitted. Cash will be deposited directly into the member’s bank account within 48 hours of application.

There are also some rules for the NTR Kalyana Lakshmi scheme. This scheme is applicable for the marriage of a Dwakra member’s daughter. There is a facility to take a loan of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 1 lakh as per the requirement. For this too, interest will have to be paid at par. The number of payment installments will be as per the amount taken.

Payment should be made in a maximum of 48 installments.The marriage certificate, a document related to the event management, and the estimated cost of the wedding should be submitted. After verifying the details related to the wedding, the money will be deposited directly into the member’s bank account.
