BRS Working President KT Rama Rao, former Minister Harish Rao and other BRS leaders released a “Congress Debit Card” informing the public how much each group owes as per the promises made by the Congress party. They said that they will distribute these cards to all 4 crore people of Telangana, so as to expose Congress frauds and sensitize them.
Senior leaders Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Mahmud Ali, Srinivas Goud, Swami Goud, Padmarao Goud, Madhusudhanachari, Jagadish Reddy, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Laxma Reddy, MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra and many other leaders participated in this program held at Telangana Bhavan.
KTR said that these dues cards were designed to question the Congress government and ask how much it owed to which group. He said that from state-level leaders to field-level leaders, we will take these dues cards to every house in the state. He said that an innovative protest program and campaign has been taken up through these dues cards to expose the Congress’s frauds and to sensitize the people.
“The promises are not being implemented for not 100 days, but even for 700 days. In this, we have explained how much is due to various communities. 8 lakh marriages have taken place. Till now, there is no trace of gold worth a pound”, he said. He recalled that it was promised that a guarantee law will be brought in this regard in the first cabinet meeting itself, but KTR deplored that there is no such thing.
He said that it is like losing existing cloth if we goes for a cloth. There is no farmer’s bond or loan waiver for farmers. He lamented that the Congress government owes Rs.15,000 to tenant farmers, Rs.12,000 to farm laborers, almost Rs.24,000 to auto drivers, Rs.2500 per month to women, gold worth of gold to married girls, Rs.4,000 per month to the elderly, and scooties to female students.
Moreover, KTR alleged that many people are not being given 200 units of free electricity under the Gruha Jyoti scheme. There are no Indiramma houses for the poor, 250 square yards of land for activists. Students are not even given an education assurance card of Rs.5 lakh. KTR asserted that they will not run away, even slapping false cases against them.
