World Bank Team Appreciates Samagra Shiksha program A Role Model For The Entire South Asia

The innovative changes taking place in the education sector in Andhra Pradesh have been appreciated by the World Bank representatives. The World Bank and the SALT program implemented under Samagra Shiksha are being implemented innovatively after the coalition government came to power, and these programs are standing as a role model not only for the country but also for the entire South Asia.

The World Bank delegation, which met with the Education Minister Nara Lokesh on Wednesday, specially appreciated his leadership. They said that PAL Labs, Guaranteed Foundational Literacy & Numeracy (FLN), and School Leadership Training are going well. On this occasion, Secretary of School Education, Kona Shashidhar, Director of Samagra Shiksha State Scheme, B. Srinivasa Rao, along with World Bank representatives Christel Koume, Soumya Bajaj, Yin Win Khin, Priyanka Sahu, and others participated.

Nara Lokesh said that the SALT program is contributing greatly to the LEAP program. He said that the FLN training conducted through the SALT program will be useful in laying the foundation for the Guaranteed FLN. He stated that future training programs will be evaluated through the training programs.

The Education Minister said that they will meet again to discuss the future building program and partnership with the World Bank. Pal Labs are very useful for assessing the learning abilities of students, and through these labs, it is possible to identify the shortcomings of the students and provide individual help.

Due to this, he said that teachers are able to teach with better planning, Education Minister Lokesh told the World Bank representatives. Minister Nara Lokesh said that the state government is committed to achieving the goal of providing Foundational Learning and Numeracy.

“We will achieve guaranteed FLN.. then Andhra Pradesh will stand as a compass for the world,” Lokesh said. He congratulated Education Secretary Kona Shashidhar, SPD B. Srinivasa Rao and the World Bank representatives for their efforts in providing comprehensive education in the state.
