Malayalam actor-producer Dulquer Salmaan has dismissed speculation surrounding the OTT release of his blockbuster superhero film Loka. Taking to X on Sunday, he clarified that the film will not be streaming anytime soon and urged audiences not to believe false reports.
Produced under his Wayfarer Films banner, Loka created history as Malayalam cinema’s first female superhero film and has grossed over ₹275 crore worldwide while continuing its strong theatrical run. Lead actress Kalyani Priyadarshan recently shared her joy after the film crossed the ₹200 crore mark, crediting audiences for their support and praising director Dominic Arun’s vision.
The film, directed and written by Dominic Arun with music by Jakes Bejoy and cinematography by Nimish Ravi, also features action sequences choreographed by internationally renowned stunt master Yannick Ben. Released in Telugu as Kotha Loka, the film has won appreciation across markets.
