BRS Working President KT Rama Rao alleged that L&T is withdrawing from the Hyderabad Metro Rail project because it could not bear the threats and harassment of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for bribes. He criticized that in the past, L&T Chief Financial Officer was threatened with jail and that private companies are leaving the state due to such malicious actions.
He wondered why private companies exist if the state government is acting without responsibility? He said that Revanth Reddy is going to sell the assets of MR company, which were controversial in the past, soon and how much commission he took from this will be known.
He accused that he is obstructing the cases against several companies in the past and making settlements, and taking bribes from all the companies. KTR lamented that the Medigadda Barrage should be repaired, the pumps should be turned on and the water should be lifted, but it has been set aside.
He said that there is a situation in which Group-1 candidates and students in the state cannot even hold a round table meeting. He criticized the government for acting tyrannically against all sections, schools and colleges were closed, and hospitals were paralyzed due to the cancellation of Arogyasri services.
KTR asked Revanth Reddy to tell him at least one thing he has done since becoming the Chief Minister. He said that the agitations of Asha workers and ration dealers are still ongoing. KTR recalled that the Chief Minister is not coming to the Secretariat and has told many lies about Pragathi Bhavan in the past.
KTR took issue with Revanth Reddy’s comments that there is no nepotism in the Telangana state Congress government. He said that hundreds of crores of contracts were newly given to Sujan Reddy and Amit Reddy, and how are these contracts coming in a government without nepotism?
He wondered that even though drugs worth Rs. 12,000 crores were found in the state, the Chief Minister did not have the slightest information, and it was outrageous that the second largest drug racket in the country was taking place in the state. He asked why Eagle Team and Hydra are making fun of each other when there is such a big anarchy going on?
