Abir Gulal, the film starring Pakistan’s Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor, has come under scrutiny in India due to its storyline based on the Pahalgam attack, leading to a nationwide ban.
Recently, reports circulated claiming that the movie would release in India on September 26. However, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) has officially dismissed these claims, issuing a fact-check statement to clarify the misinformation.
The PIB confirmed that Abir Gulal has not received any clearance for release in India, and no official release date has been approved. The bureau emphasized that any media reports suggesting otherwise are incorrect.
