APCC President YS Sharmila Reddy has made it clear that her son YS Raja Reddy is the political heir of YS Rajasekhara Reddy and there is no need for any doubts in this regard. Supporting the efforts being made to bring her son YS Raja Reddy into politics, she refuted the allegations being made by the YCP against her and Raja Reddy in this regard.
She wondered over YSRCP’s reactions even before her son formally entered politics and asked, “Is this fear? She recalled that her father himself named his son as Raja Reddy. She asserted that no matter how much the YCP Saitan Army shouts, her son is YS Raja Reddy. No matter how many dogs bark, they cannot change this, she added.
Sharmila has strongly objected to the spreading of false propaganda that her son entered politics on the advice of Chandrababu Naidu. She said that she only laughed at it. Then she asked her brother YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who influenced him to support the RSS candidate in the Vice President election?
She said that it was shameful for Jagan to support an RSS candidate shamelessly and reminded him that their father YSR opposed the BJP all his life. If YSR were alive, she deplored that their father would have bowed his head in shame and embarrassment for what Jagan had done.
Sharmila accused Jagan of being Modi’s adopted son and playing as Modi said. She recalled Jagan, who said that Reliance was behind YSR’s death, but he gave the Rajya Sabha seat to the same Reliance candidate. She also recalled that Jagan had supported all BJP bills in the Parliament. “Tell me why you supported it,” she asked.
Sharmila said that while the TDP-Jana Sena are in an open alliance with BJP, Jagan is a behind-the-scenes alliance. Stating that YCP is working as the BJP’s tail party, she asked whether YSR’s son has any ideology left? She said that YCP has no agenda, no flag, no ideology.
Moreover, she accused her brother Jagan of committing political prostitution. She warned that Jagan will go down in history as the one who stabbed YSR in the chest with a knife.
