TTD EO Singhal suggests To Improve TTD services Accepting suggestions of Devotees world over

Describing Tirumala temple of Sri Venkateswara Swamy as the best managed one in the entire country, TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal called upon the employees of TTD to work with same spirit in offering impeccable services to the scores of pilgrims and stand as a reference to other religious organisations. “We will improve TTD services by accepting the suggestions of devotees from all over the world”, he said.

During his maiden introductory meeting with the various HoDs at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala on Wednesday, AK Singhal who assumed charges as TTD EO for the second time assured that various issues related to the TTD employees will also be dealt with in the coming days to find an amicable solution wherever possible.

Expressing his happiness for taking over charge as TTD EO for the second time, he recalled  “furing my earlier stint as TTD EO for 3years and 4months, many of our employees and even devotees wished me to take the reins again. I thank CM Chandrababu Naidu for giving me this opportunity. With this my responsibilities and expectations have also increased. I anticipate the same support which you all offered earlier this time also”.

The EO said while he was trekking Alipiri Footpath on Wednesday morning, he happened to interact with the devotees who expressed immense pleasure over the enhanced taste of Laddu and Anna Prasadams in the last one year. “This feedback shows the commitment shown by my predecessor in improvising the prasadams. In Tirumala, there is no end for development and several improvements have been brought over a period of time”.

Under the Instructions of CM Chandrababu Naidu, he said that the priority areas are to protect the sanctity of the temple, provide amenities to common devotees using technology, spread Sri Venkateswara Bhakti cult across the country by building Sri Venkateswara Swamy temples in the capitals of other states and to further expand the services of Srivari Sevaks.

He said these will be achieved by utilizing the services of local Sevaks in the respective areas and inviting such dedicated sevaks during festivals, events and peak days for Seva in Tirumala.

“Right now our immediate focus should be on the conduct of Srivari annual Brahmotsavams which is just a couple of weeks away. My predecessor Syamala Rao informed me of various pending works which need to be executed keeping in view the larger interests of the devotees. We need to strengthen all these systems over a period of time”, he added.
