Former Telangana Minister and BRS Executive President Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) got a huge relief in the High Court, as it dismissed three cases registered against him in different places in Nalgonda.
KTR had earlier tweeted about the leak of Telangana 2024 Class 10th exam question papers. However, several Congress leaders objected to KTR’s tweet and filed a complaint with the Nalgonda police. While complaints were filed against KTR in three places, the police registered cases against KTR based on the complaints of Congress leaders.
However, KTR had previously approached the High Court to dismiss the cases registered against him in Nalgonda. The High Court, which accepted KTR’s petition for hearing, heard the arguments of both sides.
While the lawyers representing the Congress leaders argued that their names were mentioned even though they were not related, the lawyer representing KTR argued that these cases were filed by political factions. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the High Court issued orders on Tuesday, dismissing the three cases registered against KTR in Nalgonda.
Meanwhile, a key development has taken place in the Formula E-car race case. ACB officials have submitted the report related to this case to the Telangana state government, seeking permission for further prosecution. The ACB has already summoned former minister KTR twice and IAS officer Arvind three times for questioning.
It is reported that the ACB will file a chargesheet against both of them once the green signal is received from the government. The ACB registered a case on December 18, 2024, regarding the Formula-E car racing case. A case has been registered against KTR as A1, IAS Arvind Kumar as A2, and former HMDA chief engineer BLN Reddy as A3.
Former minister KTR indirectly satirized the government by saying that there is nothing in the Formula E car race case, and that anyone can come and take a lie detector test by saying that he will be here. He said that he had tried in every way for the Formula E race in Hyderabad. He revealed that he himself had given orders to give Rs. 46 crore from HMDA.
He said that the money had reached the account there and not a single rupee had been tampered with anywhere. He said that he would fight on the guarantees and assurances given by the Congress. Since there are ACB cases against him and the Chief Minister, KTR challenged both of them to face a lie detector test.
