Despite being made on a huge budget, producer TG Vishwa Prasad confirmed that ticket prices for Mirai will remain unchanged. Speaking at a press meet ahead of the film’s release this Friday, he said the decision was made to ensure more people could watch the film. The fantasy action entertainer is directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, with Teja Sajja in the lead role, Manchu Manoj as the antagonist, and Ritika Nayak as the female lead.
Story and Highlights
Vishwa Prasad revealed that Mirai features nearly ten larger-than-life sequences. The plot is based on Emperor Ashoka, who recorded his wisdom in nine books — entrusting eight warriors with their protection and one book to an ashram. The hero–villain conflict revolves around these books. He added that Teja Sajja underwent special training for the action sequences, while Manoj’s character is powerful and impactful. Karan Johar will be releasing the film in North India. A special set was built to film sequences involving a bird named Sampathi.

The producer also announced that Prabhas–Maruthi’s The Raja Saab will release on January 9, 2026, with its trailer attached to Kantara 2. The first song will be unveiled on Prabhas’ birthday, October 23. Another project, Telusu Kada, is scheduled for release in October, followed by Mowgli, J2, Garividi Lakshmi, and separate films with Lavanya Tripathi and Sunil. Between 2026–27, nearly 12 films will be released under People Media Factory.
