Rashmika Mandanna’s new film The Girlfriend has been the most buzzed-about project in recent months. This female-centric romantic drama has generated much interest, with Rashmika essaying the lead role. Accompanying her is Kannada actor Dheekshith Shetty, who plays her boyfriend in this poignant love story. Directed by Rahul Ravindran, the film is being produced by Dheeraj Mogilineni and Vidya Koppineedi, with talented Hesham Abdul Wahab as the music composer. The film is being released by Allu Aravind and releasing on a pan-India level further stirs up expectations.
Even though The Girlfriend has been under production for some time now, it still hasn’t arrived in theaters. Initially, there was speculation that the movie was to release on September 5.
