Outlining the state’s development vision, Lokesh said Andhra Pradesh will have a single capital while promoting decentralized growth. He detailed sector-specific initiatives, including developing Prakasam district as a compressed biogas capital, Anantapur as an automotive hub, Kurnool as a renewable energy center, and establishing electronics manufacturing units in Kadapa and Chittoor. He added that AP aims to become a \$2.4 trillion economy by 2047, noting that 50 percent of India’s air conditioners are manufactured in the state.

Under a five-year initiative, a transformative program has been launched to train 25,000 students across 50 government higher secondary schools in Visakhapatnam. An AI lab developed by SAIENT has been inaugurated at a government school in Chandrapalem, with Lokesh interacting with students during the event. He stated that the AI revolution is creating new employment opportunities and highlighted reforms in the education sector, adding that new teachers will join schools starting September.
