CM Chandrababu set A Target of Making one Lakh women Entrepreneurs By Women’s Day

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that as part of the One Family, One Entrepreneur policy, we have set a target of making one lakh women entrepreneurs. At the state-level bankers’ committee meeting, said that a plan has been made to make one lakh women entrepreneurs by March 8 (Women’s Day). 

He explained that the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub has been launched in the state for employment, and the main center of the company has already started functioning in Amaravati.

He sought the cooperation of bankers for this. He asked banks and financial institutions to think in terms of providing support for new innovations. He suggested that bankers’ meetings should be meaningful and decisions should be taken in accordance with the aspirations of farmers, people and the government. He said that there is a need to provide facilities to repay loans with low interest and small amounts.

CM Chandrababu said that infrastructure projects are being implemented rapidly in the state, that plans are being made to bring in large-scale logistics projects, and that major projects related to transportation facilities are going to be undertaken. He said that Dugarajapatnam port is also coming up. He said that facilities should be provided so that the logistics cost is reduced to single digits.

The Chief Minister said that large-scale projects are going to be undertaken in urban and rural areas through PPP method in the creation of facilities, and if necessary, viability gap funding will be provided. He asked bankers to cooperate in this. He said that banks should set up their head offices in the state capital Amaravati, and that they should all set up a financial district together.

He also wanted to use Quantum Valley services. He said that security has become crucial for financial transactions, and Quantum Valley services will be helpful in this context. He said that iconic buildings should be constructed in Amaravati and the necessary land would be allotted.

CM Chandrababu said that banks have to build their offices in Amaravati within two years. He requested that the back-end services of banks be provided from here itself. He said that banks should come forward to provide loans to farmers for returnable plots in Amaravati and should not cause them any problems.
