Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep has requested fans to refrain from celebrating his birthday at his residence this year. The actor shared that this will be his first birthday since the passing of his mother, and he is not in a position to host celebrations at home without her presence. He conveyed the message through a heartfelt post on Twitter.
Sudeep wrote, “Dear friends, I look forward to meeting you all, just as you look forward to seeing me on September 2. But this time, the situation is different. Celebrating at home without my mother is very difficult for me.” While expressing his reluctance, he suggested an alternative, promising to meet fans at a designated location on the evening of September 1, with details to be shared soon.
He emphasized that no one should visit his residence on September 2. “I will not be at home that day. Even if I am absent, if fans create a crowd at my house, it will break my heart. Please do not disturb the peace at my residence. I trust you will respect my request,” Sudeep added. He also confirmed that he will continue his annual social service activities on his birthday and noted that fans’ wishes are his greatest treasure. The emotional post has gone viral on social media.
On the professional front, Kiccha Sudeep is currently starring in the action-thriller Billa Ranga Basha, directed by Anoop Bandari. Rukmini Vasanth plays the female lead, while the film is being produced under the Prime Show Entertainment banner by Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy. The film is slated for release next year.
