Kollywood star Jayam Ravi, also known as Ravi Mohan, has officially entered the production space with the launch of his company, Ravi Mohan Studios. Speaking at the launch event, he clarified that the studio was established to promote new talent and produce OTT projects. He also confirmed that his upcoming film with comedian Yogi Babu, Extraordinary Man, will be the second project under his banner. The event saw the presence of notable actors including Karthi and Shiv Karthikeyan.
Actor Karthi, addressing the gathering, revealed that he will be acting in a film directed by Ravi Mohan. He appreciated the story narrated by Ravi and confirmed that Ravi would helm the project. Karthi humorously noted that he is aware of the challenges involved in film production, which is why he has no plans to launch his own production house. He also recalled advice given to him by superstar Rajinikanth.
Shiv Karthikeyan, who is co-starring with Jayam Ravi in Parasakthi, described Ravi as his junior in acting but senior in production. “I enjoy producing films even more than acting. Ravi Mohan, as a producer, I consider you senior. Produce many more films,” he said. Directed by Sudha Kongara, Parasakthi is expected to release in January next year.
