Prabhas Returns To Sets, The Raja Saab Filming Speeds Up

Prabhas, India’s leading star, has a reputation for his high work ethic and willingness to accept varied roles. Currently working on two big projects, The Raja Saab and Fauji, Prabhas is making big waves with his upcoming movies. The Raja Saab, which was originally marked for release on December 5, can now likely be shifted to a Sankranti release, as per latest reports.

Since the film is on pan-India scale, The Raja Saab needs plenty of time for post-production work and promotional activities. Normally, a film of this magnitude requires its shoot to be finished at least three months prior to release. But with the recent workers’ strike in Tollywood, the production schedule of the film has been hit, so it seems improbable that the movie will be released as originally set in December.

Though an official release date is not yet announced, The Raja Saab crew is on a mission to wrap up the shoot as soon as possible. The effect of the strike is unknown at present, yet Prabhas and the crew have gone back on the sets, and important scenes are being shot. Once the shooting is done, the crew will shoot the songs, which will be shot abroad. The shoot is likely to be completed in another month, and after the shoot, the final date for release will be decided depending on post-production schedules and advertisement schedules.

At present, a Sankranti release appears to be the most viable option. Akhanda 2 is scheduled for a December 5 release, and it is likely that there would be a three-day gap between The Raja Saab and Mana Shankara Varaprasad, featuring Chiranjeevi. This would enable the two films to hit the screens in rapid succession, giving fans an action-packed beginning to the festival season.
