Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu believes that the Trump tariff problems are temporary and he is confident that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will resolve them effectively. Stating that every challenge is an opportunity,he suggested that the problems caused by the tariffs imposed by US President Trump should be resolved at the same time and there should be no compromise.
Chandrababu Naidu, who participated in the Economic Times World Leaders Forum conference in New Delhi, said that Amaravati is being built with international living standards. He said that no country or state in the world can survive without welfare and asserted that only wealth creators have the right to provide welfare schemes.
Chandrababu said that due to reforms, assets like ports, airports, roads, telecommunications, power projects and colleges have come to the country. He said that wealth has been created in the country and the revenue of the governments has increased. He said that welfare schemes are being implemented as part of reducing the gap between the poor and the rich.
He made it clear that welfare schemes cannot be implemented by simply incurring debts. He also commented that creating wealth for the state and keeping people in poverty is not good. Chandrababu recalled that after he took charge as the Chief Minister in 1995, the second generation of reforms was started in AP. He said that every reform started with him and provided benefits.
He said that the difficulties of state bifurcation and the misguided governance between 2019-2024 are the biggest challenges facing them now. He said that the CEO title given to him by businessmen decades ago had harmed him. Chandrababu explained that he was accused of not knowing how to run the state as the Chief Minister.
Chandrababu recalled that the IT policy was brought in AP years ago. He said that despite many criticisms at that time that IT had no future, he did not give up. He said that as a result, Microsoft came to Hyderabad and those who worked there became the CEO of that company.
He said that this is an example of how the people of Andhra Pradesh acquired the results of the government’s policies. He said that wherever you go in the world, there are Indians, 30 to 35 percent of them are Telugu.
