Sailajanath slams CM Chandrababu shielding Anarchic MLAs, pushing AP To A Heaven of violence

Former Minister and YSRCP leader Sake Sailajanath launched a scathing attack on the TDP-led coalition government, criticising Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for shielding his party MLAs and enabling unprecedented lawlessness. “Despite glaring excesses, not a single case has been filed against them. This complicity has reduced Andhra Pradesh to a haven of violence and corruption,” he said.

He lamented that Chandrababu has distorted the meaning of “super governance,” redefining it as assaults on Dalits, rapes on women, harassment of employees, and plunder in sand, liquor, soil, and mining. “Since Naidu assumed office, democracy has vanished. Systems are dismantled and atrocities are committed under the guise of the Red Book. Ordinary families see no benefit, only misery,” he added.

He ridiculed the CM’s shameless publicity, noting false claims such as credit for Vajpayee’s Golden Quadrilateral. “At this rate, he might even claim credit for floods in the Krishna River,” he quipped, adding that Naidu abandoned governance for loot after a suspicious 12.5% surge (48 lakh votes) in the last election.

Listing MLA outrages, Sailajanath cited: Budda Rajasekhar Reddy’s harassment of forest officials, Daggubati Venkateswara Prasad’s insults to Jr NTR’s mother, Kuna Ravi Kumar’s torment of a woman principal, and Chintamaneni Prabhakar’s use of rowdies to bar ex-MLA Abbayya Chowdary.

He pointed to tragic fallout tht a pregnant woman’s suicide in Kalyandurgam, a suicide attempt by a woman in Guntur, and lack of justice for a raped minor in Anantapur. He accused thatTDP goons even blocked a YSRCP sarpanch from hoisting the flag, while parole to a life convict on TDP recommendations was cynically blamed on YSRCP.

He also referred to further incidents include Narasaraopet MLA’s attack on his own cadre, Srikalahasti MLA’s Rs. 1 crore extortion, Jana Sena MLA’s assault on a medical college principal, Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy humiliating Valmiki youth, DWCRA women tortured, “this government shields the guilty and terrorizes the people.

Sailajanath condemned massive land grabs where thousands of crores worth of land are handed to suitcase companies for 99 paise an acre, Lulu gifted prime lands, and 1,500 acres were given in Kurnool. He deplored that Colleges built for poor students under YS Jaganmohan Reddy are shut for privatization, while Naidu remains silent on Visakhapatnam Steel Plant’s privatization.

“Even disabled pensions are being cruelly cut, stripping survival rights of the most vulnerable. Naidu has lost all grip on governance, prioritizing plunder over people. Andhra Pradesh deserves justice, not this anarchy,” Sailajanath added.
