The AP BJP has suffered a big setback with the resignation of its state convenor of the central government schemes campaign committee Singareddy Ramachandra Reddy to the primary membership of the party.
In his resignation letter sent to the party national president JP Nadda, he protested over the functioning of the TDP-led coalition government in the state anda also pointed out absence of internal democracy within the BJP.
Indirectly pointing out that the TDP is confined as a family party, he deplored that no party is acting responsibly in the state and even the communists are working for their own interests. He alleged that when he is working for the welfare of the people, many people are obstructing him from doing a good job.
He said that fear of two regional parties’ investments are not coming to the state, as investors are scared that if investments come during one’s tenure, the other will be canceled if they come into the government. He lamented that there is no freedom of expression in any party in the country.
Stating that positive politics is necessary in the current situation, Singareddy warned that if this is not corrected here, Andhra Pradesh will remain the poorest state in the country in the coming days. He was angry that the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh had disrupted governance. Whose game are they playing?, he asked.
Pointing out politics of both Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, he deplored that while one is working with the idea of coming back to power or making his son the Chief Minister, the other is indirectly working to make himself the Chief Minister.
Leaving aside the issue of development, he was angry with the coalition government, saying that there is no sense of creating jobs for the unemployed and standing by the farmers. If the present alliance with TDP and Jana Sena continued, he wonders whether there would be BJP remains in the state by 2029?
Singareddy, who was furious about his own party BJP, deplored that BJP was in a situation where it was saluting regional parties, and that regional parties were nodding their heads to all the seats they were given, criticizing the BJP for doing great injustice to its workers.
