Koratala Siva, a star director of Tollywood, has set up quite a resume with blockbuster hits starring Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, and Jr. NTR. His last film, Acharya with Chiranjeevi did not measure up to expectations and he received backlash for it. That was also not the case with his movie Devara, starring NTR, although it received success I believe most of the accolades were for NTR’s acting rather than Koratala as a director.
Nevertheless, there have been reports about the sequel’s future lately. Although the movie has been confirmed by the producers and NTR himself has promised its release, Koratala has raised some eyebrows with a new development that has taken everyone by surprise.
The current buzz indicates that Koratala Siva’s next directorial project might just be with Naga Chaitanya. Chaitanya, riding high on the success of Thandel, is busy with his 24th project, directed by Karthik Dandu. Post this assignment, the young actor is rumored to be in talks with a few best directors in the industry for his much-awaited milestone film, NC25. Along with the likes of Shiva Nirvana and Boyapati Srinu, Koratala Siva has now joined the fray.
Sources indicate that Koratala has already pitched a script to Naga Chaitanya, and the actor has given an enthusiastic response. Chaitanya, known for doing diversely different roles, is excited about the mass drama Koratala has written. If things progress, it will mark a defining occurrence in Chaitanya’s career. Fans are awaiting further updates as this can hopefully continue.
