In just three days, Coolie has reportedly grossed ₹335 crores, with expectations that it could cross the ₹1000 crore mark within the next week. The film’s success has been attributed to its gripping storyline and the powerful performances, especially that of Soubin Shahir, whose character plays a central role in the narrative. Reports indicate that Soubin’s character dominates Rajinikanth’s role at certain points in the film.

There has been a buzz on social media suggesting that Soubin Shahir’s role was initially offered to actor Fahadh Faasil, known for his portrayal of the antagonist in Pushpa. Sources indicate that due to unavoidable circumstances, Fahadh was unable to take on the role, leading to Soubin stepping in. Furthermore, it is reported that Soubin received ₹1 crore as remuneration for his performance in the film.
