Tollywood star Venkatesh, fresh off his Sankranti success earlier this year, has officially launched his 77th film, Venky77, directed by renowned filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas. The project began today with a traditional muhurat ceremony, where the actor described the film as “very special.” Regular shooting is expected to commence soon.
This marks the third collaboration between Venkatesh and Trivikram, following the beloved hits Nuvvu Naaku Nachav and Malliswari, where Trivikram contributed as a writer. Industry buzz suggests the film will feature two female leads, with Trisha, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Rukmini Vasanth among the names in consideration. The makers are eyeing a summer 2026 release.
Meanwhile, Venkatesh has a busy schedule ahead, including a guest appearance in the Chiranjeevi–Anil Ravipudi venture Mega157, the thriller sequel Drushyam 3, and another high-profile project alongside a leading star.
