CM Revanth Reddy says No compromise on water Rights, Telangana will Get Its share of water

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has made it clear that there is no compromise on the water rights in the Krishna and Godavari rivers. Speaking after hoisting the national flag in Golconda, he asserted that Telangana will get its share of water. He said that they will provide water to other states only after our needs are met.

The Chief Minister accused that the Kaleshwaram built by the previous government with a cost of one lakh crore has collapsed. He said that the SLBC, Palamuru-Ranga Reddy and Dindi projects will be completed. He assured that water will be provided up to the last ayacut in Telangana. He said that steps have been taken to increase the branding of Hyderabad.

Revanth Reddy said that conspiracies to make the youth addicted to drugs have been busted and 60,000 government jobs have been given in 20 months. He said that the solution to the Hyderabad floods is only through the revival of Musi. He said that new airports are coming soon to Warangal and Adilabad. He said that the recruitment of Group-1, 2 and 3 will be completed soon.

Stating that social justice is in the DNA of Congress, he praised that 3.10 crore people are being provided with rice like nowhere else in the country, and that the rice scheme is not just a hunger-quenching scheme, and that the rice scheme is a symbol of the self-respect of the poor.

He recalled that on August 15 last year, he launched a loan waiver of two lakhs and stood proudly by keeping the promise to the farmers. “We gave farmer assurance in the accounts of the farmers even when the seeds were sown, and we deposited Rs. 9,000  crore in the accounts of the farmers within nine days without any restrictions”, he added.

The CM said that they are collecting the grain till the last grain harvested by the farmer and money was deposited in the accounts of the farmers within 48 hours of selling the grain, free electricity is being provided to 78 lakh agricultural motors in Telangana, and that the state of Telangana has become Annapurna due to the government’s support for the farmers.

Revanth Reddy lashed out at the previous government for ten years for denying the poor their dream of owning their own homes. He said that they are fulfilling the dream of owning their own homes by selecting genuine beneficiaries, that poverty was the standard for selecting beneficiaries without intermediaries.

Stating that social justice is in the DNA of the Congress, he said a bill was brought on March 2 providing 42 percent reservation for BCs. He requested the Center to approve the bills sent by the state government, and that they are repeatedly appealing from the Golconda Fort to approve the BC bills quickly.
