The much-awaited big-budget films Coolie and War 2 are all set to release this August, generating significant buzz among audiences. While ticket bookings have already commenced in other states with seats selling rapidly, fans in the Telugu states awaited confirmation on booking schedules. Ticket sales officially opened Tuesday evening via BookMyShow and district-level apps.
In Telangana, ticket prices remain unchanged, with single-screen theaters offering tickets at ₹175 and multiplexes at ₹295. Authorities have permitted only one special pre-morning show between 6 am and 7 am ahead of regular screenings. Due to overwhelming demand, theaters faced challenges in allocating special shows for both films.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh has granted permission for a slight increase in ticket prices for Coolie and War 2. The hike is capped at ₹50 for single-screen theaters and ₹75 for multiplexes. An official announcement regarding the revised pricing is awaited.
