The action thriller War 2, featuring NTR and Hrithik Roshan in lead roles and Kiara Advani as the female lead, is directed by Ayan Mukerji and scheduled for release on August 14. Social media buzz suggests that Bollywood actor Bobby Deol will make a cameo appearance in the film’s climax. During a recent pre-release event, NTR hinted that the film contains several surprises and urged fans not to reveal them, prompting speculation that Bobby Deol’s cameo could be one of those surprises.
Bobby Deol, who received acclaim for his performance in Animal, recently said in an interview that a strong script is essential for a film’s success. He played the antagonist in Suriya’s Kanguva but admitted the film fell short of expectations. “Suriya is a remarkable actor, and we believed Kanguva would be a major hit. However, when the script doesn’t work, nothing can make the film succeed. Sometimes, I simply enjoy the shooting process without overthinking, and Kanguva was one such experience,” he said.
The actor added that he chooses varied roles to enhance his growth as a performer. Reflecting on his work with Balakrishna in Daaku Maharaj, Bobby Deol said, “I will never forget that experience. He truly is a mass hero.”
