Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh has instructed officials to make comprehensive arrangements for the successful conduct of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) 30th Partnership Summit, scheduled for November 14–15, 2025, in Visakhapatnam. The summit will be held under the theme “Andhra is Back.”
Lokesh chaired the first review meeting of the Cabinet sub-committee formed to oversee the event at his Undavalli residence. Senior officials from multiple departments presented detailed plans for organizing the summit.
Highlighting the importance of the event, Lokesh said the summit should project Andhra Pradesh as a global investment destination, attracting businesses worldwide to boost employment and economic growth in the state. He directed officials to prepare individual themes for each participating country.
The sub-committee also decided to conduct roadshows across India and abroad to showcase Andhra Pradesh as an industrial hub. The AU Grounds in Visakhapatnam have been finalized as the venue for the summit, which will be organized in partnership with CII under the theme “Technology, Trust, Trade: Navigating the New Geo-Economic Order.”
The committee will meet every 15 days to review progress. Ministers T.G. Bharat, P. Narayana, Gottipati Ravikumar, Kandula Durgesh, Kondapalli Srinivasa, Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand, and other senior officials attended the meeting.
