Comedian Praveen plays the lead role in the upcoming film Bakasura Restaurant, featuring Viva Harsha, Shining Phani, and KGF Garuda Ram in pivotal roles. Directed by S.J. Shiva, the movie is set to release on August 8. Speaking to the media, Praveen shared insights about the project:
Entertainment with Emotion
“This movie has five main characters, and I play a crucial role named Paramesh. Since it’s a lead role, I feel a bit tense. It’s an entertaining yet emotional character, different from my previous roles. The story blends horror, thriller, and mythology, yet the director has presented it with clarity,” he said.
A Heart-Touching Climax
“Although the production slightly exceeded our planned budget, we are satisfied with the output. I’m happy that producer Dil Raju is releasing our film, as he really liked the story. The climax will surely touch the audience’s hearts. It portrays the pain we feel when a close friend is forced to drift away from us,” Praveen explained.
A Dream Role
“I don’t believe that playing a hero reduces opportunities as a comedian. Even though I’m in the lead role, I don’t consider myself a typical hero. I’m ready to play any role. My dream is to do a full-fledged comedy lead role. Currently, I’m also playing significant roles in Vishwambhara, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Mass Jathara, Lenin, and Aakasmlo O Thara,” he added.
