Raja Singh Denies Conspiracy Behind BJP Resignation

Hyderabad: Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh, who recently resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has clarified that there is no conspiracy behind his decision and that it was taken after careful consideration. He also reiterated his willingness to resign from his MLA position if directed by the BJP high command.

Responding to ongoing speculation, Raja Singh stated that he had attempted to convey to the party leadership the individuals responsible for causing damage to the party. He emphasised that lakhs of dedicated workers have made sacrifices for the BJP and asserted that the party needs a strong leader to come to power in Telangana.

Dismissing rumours that he is seeking to rejoin the BJP, the MLA clarified that he has not sent any group of supporters to the BJP state office with such intentions. “There is no truth to the reports that I’m trying to re-enter the party. I am not someone significant enough for Union Minister Amit Shah to personally call me,” he said. Raja Singh concluded that his decision to resign was made independently after careful reflection.
