ZEE5 is set to release its latest Telugu original series Mothevari Love Story on August 8. Set against the backdrop of rural Telangana, the series stars Anil Geela and Varshini Reddy Junnutula in lead roles and is directed by Shiva Krishna Burra. The seven-episode village-based romantic comedy has already generated buzz through its teaser, which hints at a blend of humour and heartfelt storytelling.
At the trailer launch event, director and actor Tharun Bhascker attended as the chief guest. He praised the team, stating, “The trailer of Mothevari Love Story is impressive. The My Village Show team is an inspiration to many. Anil Geela has great potential, and this series is bound to be a hit. I urge everyone to watch it.”
Speaking at the event, Anil Geela said, “Reaching this stage has been a challenging journey. The entire My Village Show team’s efforts have brought us here. We thank ZEE5 and Sridhar anna for trusting us. This series will definitely make viewers laugh.”
