Tollywood’s mega power star Ram Charan is currently shooting the much awaited feature, Peddi. The film is being made as an action entertainer from the makers of Uppena and directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
Recently, renowned cinematographer Rathnavelu shared an exciting update, revealing that a high-octane night action sequence was completed. He lauded Charan’s energy on set, calling his performance electrifying. Before this, the team had shot a large-scale train fight sequence on a specially designed set in Hyderabad, which left crew members in awe of Charan’s screen presence and intensity.
What’s generating even larger waves, however, is Ram Charan’s dramatic physical transformation for the movie. He just put up a stunning workout photo on Instagram, revealing his bulked-up physique, bushy long hair, and dense beard — a look the fans have never witnessed before. Charan revealed in his caption that the transformation for Peddi has officially started, and the photo has gone viral soon after.
Earlier-released glimpses and posters have already received a phenomenal response, especially for Charan’s gritty new avatar. With his dedication, transformation, and powerful presence, fans are convinced that Peddi will be another blockbuster addition to his career. Many are calling it his most powerful and rawest transformation yet.
Peddi is being made on a large scale by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, with top production houses Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings offering the film. The female lead is played by Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, and the supporting cast features stalwarts such as Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu Sharma.
The theatrical release of the film will be a worldwide release on March 27, 2026 coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday, thus it should be a sensational experience for all, that have been waiting for the mega stars never-before-seen avatar.
