The upcoming film starring megastar Chiranjeevi and directed by Anil Ravipudi, currently being developed under the working titles Mega 157 and ChiruAnil, is presently being shot in the Kerala region. However, the project has encountered an unexpected setback after behind-the-scenes visuals from the set were leaked and circulated on social media.
In response, the film’s production house has issued an official statement condemning the unauthorized recordings and sharing of video clips and photographs from the shooting location. It warned that legal action would be taken against those who breach set protocols and share content without permission.
“We have observed some unauthorized videos and images from the film’s sets being circulated on social media. We urge everyone not to record any content without official consent. Any violation will result in legal action. Such disruptions not only affect the workflow but also disturb the dedicated efforts of the entire team. We appeal to everyone not to share these images and to await official updates only,” the statement read.
The film, a comedy entertainer, features Nayanthara as the female lead. Veteran actor Venkatesh is expected to make a special appearance in a guest role. The makers are aiming for a Sankranti 2026 release. Interestingly, Chiranjeevi will be seen playing a character named Shankar Varaprasad — his real name — and the team is reportedly considering the title Mana Shiva Shankar Varaprasad Garu for the final release.
