Vijay Deverakonda Declines Villain Role In Ranveer Singh’s Don 3

Tollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda, who is currently promoting his upcoming film Kingdom, has reportedly turned down an offer to play the antagonist in the Bollywood film Don 3. Directed by Farhan Akhtar, the sequel stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role and is one of the most anticipated projects in the Hindi film industry.

According to film industry sources, the makers of Don 3 approached Deverakonda for a key negative role. However, the actor is said to have politely declined the offer, expressing his current preference to focus exclusively on Telugu films. He reportedly conveyed to the team that he is not interested in working in other languages at this time.

With Deverakonda stepping away from the project, the filmmakers are now exploring other casting options for the villain’s role. Don 3 is expected to commence shooting in January 2026.

Meanwhile, Deverakonda’s Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, is generating considerable buzz and is slated for release soon.
