Madhavi Lata Again surfaced Targeting MLA Raja Singh, Focusing on BJP seat In Jubilee Hills By-poll

Madhavi Lata, who had been staying away from active politics after unexpectedly contesting as a BJP candidate from Hyderabad in the Lok Sabha elections held last year and losing badly to AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, suddenly came to the fore with sarcastic remarks on Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh in view of the upcoming Jubilee Hills assembly by-election.

Recalling the satires leveled against her in the past, she claimed that Raja Singh himself did not know why he left the BJP. Recalling that Raja Singh questioned the party’s decision to put her as party’s candidate asking ‘is there no man to contest?’, she said that he was her younger brother. She indirectly expressed her strong desire to contest from there by saying that she would contest if the party gave her a seat in Jubilee Hills.

It is believed that she came to the fore at a time when the state BJP leadership is trying to get Raja Singh’s resignation letter submitted to the party accepted and his assembly membership cancelled, accusing him of being prevented from filing his nomination for the post of BJP state president.

Speaking in the backdrop of the Jubilee Hills by-election, she criticized Asaduddin Owaisi’s stance on the issue of Hydra silence over his colleges built in encroached lake site, she questioned Chief Minister Revanth Reddy why Hydra, which is destroying the houses of the poor, is afraid of Fatima College.

She accused this government of being silenced by the money given by AIMIM leaders. She expressed her concern that thousands of people in her parliamentary constituency are being left on the streets. Madhavi Latha made it clear that the high command will decide the candidate for the Jubilee Hills by-election and that she will be in the fray if given a chance.

She recalled that she had received more votes than Raja Singh in the previous elections. She said that she is currently touring all the assembly constituencies, not just Goshamahal. She said that she does not have just Goshamahal constituency, but seven assembly constituencies under her jurisdiction.
