Angry mob attacked YSRCP’s former MLA Nallapareddy Prasannakumar Reddy house on Monday night in Nellore after he made dirty comments about TDP’s woman MLA Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy. Prasannakumar Reddy, who participated in the YSRCP constituency-level meeting in Padugupadu, Kovur constituency, used abusive language, claiming that he knew the entire history of MLA Prashanthi Reddy.
He alleged that Prasanthi Reddy married Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy by blackmailing him. Stating that Prabhakar Reddy married her as if no other one could find and that if he was asked, he would have brought a virgin girl and married her to him.
Moreover, he also made sensational comments stating that “Where were you 10 years ago? I only tell you Prabhakar Reddy, you have assets worth thousands of crores of rupees. You should be careful. I have information that two sittings have already been held to kill you”.
The angry crowd attacked Prasanna Kumar Reddy’s house near JVR Colony in Nellore city on Monday between 8.30 and 9 pm. The mob destroyed the car in front of the house, went into the house and broke furniture and chairs. They broke the windows. They took out clothes and burned them. Prasanna Kumar Reddy was not at home at that time.
After learning about the information, YSRCP leaders Anil Kumar Yadav, Anam Vijayakumar Reddy, Meriga Murali, and Parvatareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy inspected the scene of the incident. They accused TDP leaders of all this. They demanded that appropriate action be taken against them.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has demanded that everyone should condemn the comments made by Prasanna Kumar Reddy on Kovur MLA Prashanthi Reddy. He warned that whoever makes objectionable comments against women will be punished.
Pawan Kalyan expressed his deep anger that making derogatory comments against women’s personality has become a habit for YCP leaders. Pawan Kalyan said that all democrats should condemn making comments targeting personal lives and denigrating women.
IT Minister Nara Lokesh questioned whether YCP leaders have such hatred for women? He suggested that it is not enough to have a lot of education, but they should also have good manners. He flagged that YCP leaders do not even have the minimum common sense to speak objectionable words against women.
Minister Dr. Narayana expressed his anger over former Nallapureddy’s derogatory comments against Prashanthi Reddy. Stating that he spoke badly without even considering her as a woman, he reminded that in the past, the party leader Jagan too had spoken against his own younger sister.
Protests were held in Kovur against Prasanna Kumar Reddy’s behavior, who made dirty comments against MLA Prashanthi Reddy. TDP women held a rally from Mandabayalu Center in Kovur to Kovur PS. After the rally, they said that they will file a complaint against Prasanna Kumar Reddy at Kovur PS. Many people are protesting these dirty comments across the district.
