CM Chandrababu Naidu Inaugurated First Digital Nerve Center In Kuppam

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav inaugurated the first Digital Nerve Center (DINC) in AP, set up in collaboration with the state government and Tata Group, at Kuppam Area Hospital on Thursday. The Digital Nerve Center has connected 13 area hospitals, 92 village health centers.

CM Chandrababu said that this center will provide continuous monitoring through personal medical records. He said that the DG Nerve Center is carrying out activities to digitize personal medical records in collaboration with Tata Group. He said that Digital Nerve Center services will be started in 13 primary medical and health centers in Kuppam.

He revealed that 13 area hospitals, PHCs and 92 village health centers are being connected through the Digital Nerve Center. He said that Digital Nerve Center services have been started to ensure continuous monitoring through personal medical records. He said that the Digital Nerve Center will provide timely diagnosis, appointment of medical experts, personal counseling and other services.

CM Chandrababu said that medical experts will be made available to the patient in a virtual manner and the convenience of providing treatment will be brought. He revealed that the NTR Medical Service Scheme services and connectivity with private hospitals are also being provided through the Nerve Center.

CM Chandrababu Naidu announced that the DG Nerve Center services will include diagnosis, health services, screening tests, and subsequent follow-up. He explained that the Diginerve Center will work to bring all the details related to public health in one place.

The Chief Minister said that in the first phase, the Digital Nerve Center is being expanded to all areas of Kuppam and Chittoor districts. CM Chandrababu said that in the third phase, they are planning to expand the Digital Nerve Center services across AP.

Meanwhile, is the current staff sufficient to provide DG Nerve Center services across the state? Or is additional staff needed? Chandrababu questioned the officials. Krishnababu, Special CS of the Medical and Health Department, said that an additional 2,000 staff will be required to provide such services across the state.
