Revanth Reddy says Two Integrated Residential Schools To Be set Up In Each Assembly constituency

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced that one Young India Integrated Residential School for boys and one for girls will be established in each assembly constituency in Telangana. Since the acquisition of land for the schools announced earlier has already been completed, he instructed the officials to focus on the second phase of schools from now on.

The Chief Minister reviewed with officials in the education department at the Police Command Control Center. So far, the government has been saying that one integrated school is being established in each of the 105 constituencies except Hyderabad. It is noteworthy that the CM has recently revealed that two schools will be constructed per constituency.

During this review, he examined the models of the Young India Residential School buildings and the Veeranari Chakali Ailamma Mahila Varsity building model and suggested some changes. He wanted a huge national flag to be installed in every Young India school.

The Chief Minister, who wanted to speed up the construction process of the schools, directed that a report be submitted to him every week on the progress of the construction. He wanted the tender process to be completed quickly.

Although a large number of students are passing in the tenth grade, he deplored that the number is significantly decreasing by the time they complete the intermediate. The CM advised the officials to identify the reasons and work towards a solution. He said that the intermediate stage is crucial in the life of every student and they need to get proper guidance at that time.  said that everyone who passes the tenth grade must complete the intermediate.

CM Revanth said that along with admissions, attention should also be paid to their attendance and that the improvement of intermediate education should be discussed at all stages and discussed in the Legislative Assembly. The officials explained to the CM that education is available up to the 12th grade in schools in other states, which is why the dropouts are less there.

In this regard, he directed a study in the states where schools up to the 12th grade and in the states where intermediate is separate and submit a report. Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy has given the green signal for the sanction of 273 teaching and non-teaching posts in 18 government junior colleges established after the formation of Telangana till 2023.
