Minister Nara Lokesh made it clear that even if you are in power, you should act like you are in the opposition. Lokesh, who participated in the Telugu Desam Party’s wide-ranging meeting, advised them to be among the people and work hard to solve their problems. He alleged that the reason for the reduction of 11 seats from 151 was their arrogance.
Minister Lokesh revealed that despite all the financial difficulties, we have implemented the `Ammaku Vandanam’ program with the aim of fulfilling every promise given according to the system. He reminded us that even if we travel all over the country or the world, we will return to the party office, which we consider to be a sacred temple.
He flagged that he had seen a situation during the previous regime where if a party office like a temple was attacked, it would not be ignored. He urged the leaders not to forget the workers who worked hard for the party and also advised them to take every program called by the party seriously.
Lokesh believed that the people will decide where we sit and made it clear that women will be made part of the party system in large numbers. He said that there is a need to strengthen the affiliated organizations of the party. He instructed the leaders to focus on the organizational structure of the party and complete all the committees by July 5.
He said that there is a need to combine both the experience of the seniors and the energy of the youth. Stating that the seniors have taken the party forward for 4 decades, similarly, he directed that the first step in good governance should also be taken to every door.
He suggested that the development and welfare of the coalition government should be explained to the people during the year of rule. Minister Lokesh called on everyone to campaign door to door for a month and make the first step in good governance-door to door program a success.
