Minister TG Bharat says Drone Technology Be widely Used In Agriculture

AP Industries, Commerce and Food Processing Minister TG Bharat said that drone technology should be widely used in agriculture. Holding a review meeting mainly focusing on agriculture, medicine, education and other sectors at ZP Office in Kurnool, the minister instructed the district agriculture officer to quickly form the remaining farmer groups and achieve the target.

The district agriculture officer explained that the target set for the district regarding the sanction of drones was 35, of which 17 groups have been formed. The minister instructed the mandal agriculture department officials to take steps to educate farmers about the benefits and advantages of drone sprayers.

When the Adoni MLA mentioned that money is being taken from patients in network hospitals through the NTR Vaidya Seva scheme, the minister responded and said that a vigilance committee should be formed to monitor the proper implementation of the scheme. The minister said that lakhs and crores are being spent on oxygen in government hospitals, and  instructed the DMHO to focus on this issue and verify whether it is worth the cost.

The minister suggested that important equipment related to ICU and other departments in hospitals should be taken from the CMC and not from the AMC. As part of the discussion on sanitation, the Minister said that bleaching powder should be of good quality and that if quality bleaching powder is supplied from one place across the state, not locally, the health of the people will be good.

As part of the discussion on education, the Minister ordered the DEOs of the joint districts to inspect the condition of school buildings that are more than 20 to 25 years old in the joint district. The Minister instructed the officials to take action on this issue in advance to prevent accidents to children in old buildings.

He said that the silt has increased greatly from the beginning of the Handri River to the end of the Old Town where it meets the Tungabhadra, and that even if there is a slight flood, there is a possibility that water will enter nearby residential houses. The Minister inquired from the Irrigation SE whether he had been asked to prepare proposals and whether he had done so.

The SE informed the Minister that the proposals had been sent, and the Minister ordered the Irrigation SE to give him a copy of the same. Along with Minister TG Bharat, Kurnool District Collector P. Ranjith Basha, Nandyal District Collector G. Rajakumari Ganiya, and others were present.
