BRS MLC Kavitha slams Revanth Reddy Given Godavari As A Gift To CM Chandrababu

Telangana Jagruti president and BRS MLA Kalvakuntla Kavitha lamented that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has given Godavari as a gift to AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. She deplored that he has given the gift pack by inviting CM Chandrababu to Praja Bhavan, feeding Hyderabad biryani.

Speaking on the occasion of MLC Kavitha’s postcard movement on the increase of Rs. 2500 for women and the total increase in pensions, she recalled that there was no mention of the Banakacharla project during KCR’s tenure. Moreover, she asserted that KCR did not sign anywhere as Chief Minister mortagazing Telangana’s interests.

She accused Revanth of making comments on KCR only to cover up his failures and made it clear that KCR would not harm Telangana even in his dreams. She said that Telangana came because the original Congress party knew everything about KCR.

Kavitha challenged that let’s discuss the implementation of six guarantees and the Congress party’s deception of women in the assembly itself. Lamenting that Revanth Reddy has a habit of lying, she advised him that it is not right to divert people’s attention without implementing the guarantees.

Kavitha has welcomed the Telangana High Court’s verdict on local body elections. She has demanded that elections should be held with 42 percent reservation for BCs and that the government can issue an order within the time given by the High Court. Kavitha warned that Telangana society will not forgive Congress if 42 percent reservation is not given.

Under the leadership of MLC Kavitha, thousands of postcards were written to Sonia Gandhi. MLC Kavitha and Jagruti activists posted postcards at Abids GPO. She deplored that even after 18 months of the Congress government being formed, the promises made have not been implemented.

She accused that Congress has ignored the promise of Rs. 2,000 pension for the elderly and Rs. 4,000. She lamented that Congress has cheated by not increasing the pension of the disabled from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 6,000.

She asked what happened to the promise of Rs. 2,500 per month for women? She recalled that guarantee cards with Sonia Gandhi’s symbols on the guarantees were distributed door to door. Women, the elderly and the disabled who voted after seeing Sonia Gandhi’s face were cheated.

That is why, she said that they are now sending  thousands of postcards to Sonia Gandhi. Kavitha said that they have requested Sonia Gandhi to instruct Revanth Reddy to increase the amount of pensions.
