Chief Minister Chandrababu said that the YogaAndhra program has become a trendsetter and called for doing yoga for an hour every day. On the occasion of International Yoga Day, the Visakhapatnam beach became crowded. With the arrival of people in the early morning, it became as if the sea at RK Beach had swelled.
Visakhapatnam became the venue for the International Yoga Day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the YogaAndhra program as the chief guest. Speaking on this occasion CM Chandrababu said that they are going to create history in Visakhapatnam on the 11th Yoga Day.
The CM said that Yoga Day is being celebrated in 130 countries. He praised Prime Minister Modi for making yoga universal and emphasized that yoga provides physical and mental health. It was revealed on this occasion that about 1.44 lakh yoga instructors have registered for this program. He recalled that Prime Minister Modi has convinced the UN and made yoga a global health movement.
The CM called on all the people to make the state a healthy, wealthy and happy AP as part of Vikasit Bharat. Chandrababu believed that yoga is the union of body, mind and soul. The CM said that yoga increases immunity and self-confidence. He thanked Prime Minister Modi for providing the opportunity to host the 11th International Yoga Day and for participating in it himself.
He said that the Yoga Andhra program was successfully organized in AP for a month with the inspiration of Prime Minister Modi’s vision. The CM said that everyone should work together to achieve One Earth – One Health and expressed happiness that the Yoga Andhra program has become a trendsetter.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan praised that the Rig Veda mentions the uniqueness of yoga, but Modi has made it universal. Pawan believed that World Yoga Day is a great honor for India. Pawan expressed happiness that with the efforts of Chandrababu Naidu in the presence of Modi, a world record is going to be achieved.
