TTD says Bhumana Karunakar Reddy’s Allegations Fabricated

The TTD said in a statement that all the allegations made by YSRCP leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy are untrue and fabricated. It has been clarified that it is not right to make false allegations against a spiritual institution and that one should know the facts before making allegations against the system.

“It is regrettable to throw mud without specific evidence. It is completely untrue that there is an attempt to undermine the Vedic recitation that has been going on for generations in the Srivari temple and to speak disparagingly with the Vedic reciters. Currently, we have increased the time for reciting Vedic recitation in the temple more than before and have fully stabilized it”, it said.

“In the presence of the Lord, outside, on both footpaths, Kalyana Katta, Srivari Seva, outside queue lines, Vengamamba Anna Prasada Kendra and other areas, we have arranged for Om Namo Venkatesaya Nama to resonate everywhere for a year”, it added.TTD states that we are taking steps to increase the physical and mental strength of Vedic students in Vedic schools.

TTD made it clear that there is no deficiency in the respect given to priests and it will always be there. However, it said that many reforms have been brought in the temple recently and started a system of opinion gathering on devotees’ darshans, pilgrimage prasads, etc. and have given priority to transparency.

“This system is being appreciated by devotees. In the past, we have issued notices to Visakha Sharada Peetham and one or two other monasteries as per the court orders for taking up construction on more land than the land allotted by TTD. Everyone should respect the law”, TTD said.

TTD stated that all the monasteries have been providing their cooperation to the many reforms brought by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams for a year. TTD has also given permission to several monasteries to carry out repairs and modernization as per the rules.

“It would be better to know the facts before spreading falsehoods that devotees are being prevented from having darshan by saying that they will provide darshan with AI technology. We have been analyzing the situation from time to time like never before and have been managing the queues in a scientific manner for the convenience of the devotees”, TTD said.

“We have set up 22 additional food counters for the devotees waiting in the queues outside and have been providing them with food, milk, tea, coffee, buttermilk and snacks as per the timeline through Srivari Sevakulu. We are providing comfortable darshan to devotees on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at the highest level in history,” TTD added.
