TTD Chairman BR Naidu said that they have decided to write a letter to the Union Civil Aviation Ministry to rename Renigunta Airport as Sri Venkateswara International Airport. Explaining the resolutions of the Board of Trustees meeting held at Tirumala Annamaiya Bhavan, he said that steps will be taken to bring spiritual beauty to Renigunta Airport.
He said that they have decided to allocate land on lease to set up a CSR lab in Tirupati. He said that Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has requested them to build a Srivari temple in Bangalore, and he has requested to build a bigger temple as the current TTD temple in Vayalikavali is small. Naidu said that the decision was taken in the meeting to build a Srivari temple as soon as the land is allocated there.
He said that Union Minister Kumaraswamy has promised to provide 100 electric buses to TTD. He revealed that this will provide free transport facilities to devotees in Tirumala, thereby freeing devotees from the vertical exploitation of private vehicle owners in Srivari Mettu and other areas.
BR Naidu said that the CSR lab to be set up in Tirupati will facilitate the quality control of ghee and pulses. He said that a decision has been taken to organize priest training programs in collaboration with Samarasatha Foundation. He said that students in seven TTD schools will be trained on human values and personality development.
He explained that the Mana Sutthiram program is being implemented to train students in TTD educational institutions on Sanatana Dharma and Telugu cultural splendor. He revealed that special programs will be organized at the Tiruchanur Padmavati Ammavari temple under the name of Saubhagyam on the occasion of Varalakshmi Vratham Parvadinana.
“A CSIR lab will be set up in Tirupati. The quality of ghee and pulses can be checked through the lab. We have decided to allocate space for the lab on a lease basis. We will take steps to bring spiritual beauty to Tirupati airport. Similarly, we will organize priest training programs in collaboration with Samarasatta Foundation,” BR Naidu added.
BR Naidu informed that a yoga program will be organized on the grounds of the TTD administrative building on the occasion of Yoga Day on the 21st of this month.
