The pre-release event of the upcoming pan-India film Kuberaa, starring Dhanush and directed by Sekhar Kammula, has been rescheduled to June 15. The event, originally planned for last Friday, was postponed out of respect for the Air India flight accident that occurred on Thursday. The makers confirmed that the event will now take place in Hyderabad on the revised date.
Kuberaa features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and veteran actor Nagarjuna in a pivotal role. The film is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao. Speaking about the film, producer Puskur Ram Mohan Rao said it revolves around the clash between the world’s richest man and a destitute man living on the streets, blending themes of hawala and money laundering. He emphasized that the film focuses on characters rather than star personas.
The movie is set for a grand worldwide release on June 20.
